Don’t Abandon Truth
God is the only absolute source you can give as an absolute standard about all subjects, therefore, the starting place to know truth is what God has revealed. It is the revelation of God. We all know what it is to abandon truth, believe a lie and paid the consequences. In this day and age, we are watching a world do that right before our very eyes. So many people including believers are abandoning the truth. Hear their own desires. Turning aside and believing familiar good sounding myths. One of the reasons is because the word of God is not clearly proclaimed. The bible say they want to hear the word that makes their ears tickle, they don’t want the truth, they want the word that makes things convenient for them, things that would make them feel good rather than the true word of God. Ezekiel 2:7 - You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. That is why false doctrine or false teaching has grown rapidly.
