Spending Time in God's Presence

Is God a true priority in our life, or do we use the excuse that our busy schedules prevent us from doing so? Many of us, I believe, struggle in our relationship with God because we are sometimes fatigued by our real obligations or too preoccupied with what we believe is more essential to us.

God is well aware of the BUSY activities that might consume our time. Work, relationships, studies, caring for our children, and so on, but we must spend time in his presence in order to carry out his plan for our lives. He is our source of power and the only one who can genuinely assist us in completing the tasks required to function in this world?

Recognizing God as our Creator and accepting His Lordship over our lives is the first step in making time for Him. When we make time for God and prioritize him in our lives, we will have more time for other worthwhile endeavors.

According to the Bible, King David was a man after God's own heart. (See Acts 13:22–23.) Everything he accomplished was centered on God and exalting God. When we make God a priority in our lives, things begin to happen. Our entire concentration shifts away from you and toward him. After all, our mission in life is to do his will, therefore as we get closer to him and experience more of his presence, our prayer life becomes stronger. God wants us to be ruled by His purposes, to have our interests aligned with his desire, and to be motivated to obey him by love. We must learn to sit in his presence in order for this to happen.

Do you desire to follow God’s heart and exalt him for who he really is?
Make your relationship with the Lord a top priority, trusting and obeying Him in everything.  All that we have and all that we are is because of Him and Him alone. Every good and perfect gift comes from above.

We have a bag of rice (Us) and a ag of Walnuts (God) now take a pitcher and put in the bag of walnuts and bag of rice
Why do these bags not fit in the Pitcher?
Could it be I put me the rice in first? Cause when I try to put in the walnuts it flows out over the top and does not fit.
Maybe I should put in the walnuts first (God) then pour the rice (me) all around it.
What? It all fits harmoniously
