The bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength. This isn't just any joy; it's a divine joy, joy that fills us up when we are empty, joy that lifts us up when we are down, and joy that gives us strength when we feel weak. The enemy, he's going to try to steal this joy from us. He'll throw challenges, doubts, and fears our way. But our joy doesn't come from the world, it comes from the Lord!  It's a joy that's everlasting, unchanging, and unbreakable. When we focus on God's goodness, His love, and His promises, we are building a life on a foundation that cannot be shaken. Our joy becomes a beacon of light, driving out darkness and confusion. Therefore, we stand strong in that joy, knowing that it's a gift from God that no one can take away from us. The book of Acts contains a fantastic picture of looking for God (Acts 8:25-40). In the book of Acts, scripture shows an Ethiopian eunuch while riding in a chariot was reading about the prophecy of Christ in Isaiah (53:7-8), but he didn't grasp what he was reading. The man was on the lookout for God. God reacted by sending a man named Philip to meet the eunuch and explain the significance of the verse. As a result, the eunuch discovered God. He was convinced that Jesus Christ died for his sins. Jesus did everything necessary for him to be forgiven of his sins, escape torment, and enter heaven (Acts 8:35-39). This true-life event reveals that God knows if you are searching for Him, He will reveal Himself to you. God knows if you want to find Him. Are you looking for God? If so, God will help you find Him.
