Experiencing the Joy of the Lord

The bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength. This isn't just any joy; it's a divine joy, joy that fills us up when we are empty, joy that lifts us up when we are down, and joy that gives us strength when we feel weak. The enemy, he's going to try to steal this joy from us. He'll throw challenges, doubts, and fears our way. But our joy doesn't come from the world, it comes from the Lord!

It's a joy that's everlasting, unchanging, and unbreakable. When we focus on God's goodness, His love, and His promises, we are building a life on a foundation that cannot be shaken. Our joy becomes a beacon of light, driving out darkness and confusion. Therefore, we stand strong in that joy, knowing that it's a gift from God that no one can take away from us.

Let Your Heart Overflow with Gratitude

One of the best ways to maintain our joy is having a heart of gratitude. When we look back at God’s faithfulness towards us and start counting our blessings we will see that they are endless. The enemy wants to focus our mind on what's wrong, what's missing, our past failures, but God wants us to focus on what's right, what's there, what He has blessed us with. We must have a heavenly mindset as we are now seated in the heavenly realm in Christ.

Us having a thankful heart will be displaying a joyful heart. It is our fortress against negativity and despair. When we wake up each morning, thanking God for another day, and for our family, health, we are acknowledging him for His love and grace. By being heavenly minded we will transform our perspective, multiply our joy, and make our lives a testimony of God's glory.

Unwavering in Faith

Therefore, let us stand firm in our faith. The enemy, who is crafty, will try and use fear and doubt to steal our peace and our joy. But when we stand firm in our faith, when we trust in God's perfect plan and His timing, we will send a message to the enemy that we are unmovable, unshakable, and standing on Christ foundation, who is the cornerstone of our faith. Our faith is the shield that protects our joy. God is always in control, and He's working things out for our good. He keeps working in our favor even when we are unable to understand it.

Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
