Someone tried to debate with me about not having the victory in Christ now and we will only have it when we go to heaven. WHY? They say because we still sin. They even believe that we are only overcomers IF, we hold on till the end. There are too many believers in Christ who are living a defeated life just by believing the lies of Satan. 1 John 5: 4 - For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Many Christians and I am referring to the true believers in Christ, actually believe that one must maintain or attain salvation by holding on. The bible teaches we are saved by grace through faith and NOT our own. Salvation is not from us not even a little bit, least any man shall boast. Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This amazing verse contains an inexhaustible supply of strength and hope. It expresses the unwavering resilience granted to us when we connect our will with faith in Christ. This strength serves not only to overcome difficulties, but also to accomplish our goals and purposes. When we confront seemingly insurmountable challenges, this verse encourages us to look beyond our own strengths and rely on the strength that comes from our relationship with God. It teaches us that with faith, our potential is endless, and our success is not a result of our efforts, but of the divine power that guides and sustains us. The world may bring trials and tribulations that can easily overwhelm us and we may face difficulties in our work, or even struggles within ourselves, however, this verse tells us that we are not alone on our journey. I n Romans 7:14-25 Paul tackles the relationship between the law of God and human sinfulness. He is making it clear that those who are in Christ have been released from any obligation to the law of Moses. This is for the same reason that we have been released from our slavery to sin: We died, and death breaks those obligations. Those in Christ are associated with His physical death and resurrection and by that we experience a spiritual death and are resurrected into a new spiritual life. This is how we are freed from our responsibility to the law. Paul was also describing his experience of wanting to do what was right but found himself doing what is sinful instead. This shows we, even as believers cannot carry out the law in our own strength but through the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. Pls note this is for believers in Christ. The bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength. This isn't just any joy; it's a divine joy, joy that fills us up when we are empty, joy that lifts us up when we are down, and joy that gives us strength when we feel weak. The enemy, he's going to try to steal this joy from us. He'll throw challenges, doubts, and fears our way. But our joy doesn't come from the world, it comes from the Lord!  It's a joy that's everlasting, unchanging, and unbreakable. When we focus on God's goodness, His love, and His promises, we are building a life on a foundation that cannot be shaken. Our joy becomes a beacon of light, driving out darkness and confusion. Therefore, we stand strong in that joy, knowing that it's a gift from God that no one can take away from us. The book of Acts contains a fantastic picture of looking for God (Acts 8:25-40). In the book of Acts, scripture shows an Ethiopian eunuch while riding in a chariot was reading about the prophecy of Christ in Isaiah (53:7-8), but he didn't grasp what he was reading. The man was on the lookout for God. God reacted by sending a man named Philip to meet the eunuch and explain the significance of the verse. As a result, the eunuch discovered God. He was convinced that Jesus Christ died for his sins. Jesus did everything necessary for him to be forgiven of his sins, escape torment, and enter heaven (Acts 8:35-39). This true-life event reveals that God knows if you are searching for Him, He will reveal Himself to you. God knows if you want to find Him. Are you looking for God? If so, God will help you find Him. If you are in search of God, you should know that God the Holy Spirit is drawing you to Himself. He wants a relationship with you. God  loves you  and has made it possible for you

Romans 8:6 -   For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.   For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.   Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. In Romans 8:6, Paul highlights the importance of being spiritually minded above being motivated by the flesh, claiming that the former leads to life and peace. Being spiritually minded entails focusing on matters of the spiritual and nurturing spiritual desires rather than worldly desires. The natural man exists solely to gratify the desires of the flesh, whereas the spiritual Christian exists solely to gratify the things of the Spirit. So, what exactly does it mean to be spiritually minded?   1.   We are to live for the gospel.    As Christians our lives revolve around the gospel. The Holy Spirit dwells in us, creating a new life when we place our trust in Christ Jesus and His sacrificial work for our sins.
